Stars turning out for tournament

On Saturday at 1.30pm, some of New Zealand’s top players will take to the court at Rotokare Tennis Club. It is going to be a Laver Cup-type team event with doubles and singles being played and is a part of the Plymouth International Cup.
The players turning out on court are Ajeet Rai, Wesley Whitehouse, Connor Heap, Rob Reynolds, Alistair Hunt, George Stoupe, Kyle Butters and Alex Hunt. Ajeet Rai played for the New Zealand Davis Cup team in its successful campaign against Indonesia in September, winning his singles.
Art and Matilda Green (from The Bachelor television show) will also be in attendance and may pick up a racket in a celebrity match.
Tickets will be available from the gate and cost $20 for adults and $10 for children under 16.
On Friday night a celebrity black-tie event will take place at the Plymouth Hotel. All of the players will be in attendance to mix and mingle with and there will also be a celebrity auction.
Items up for grabs include a limited-edition All Blacks signed World Cup jersey, an hour-training session with Beauden Barrett, a William Young signed cricket jersey, a William Young one-hour cricket session, a signed Bianca Andreescu racket, a signed Alex Deminaur racket, a signed Coco Vandeweghe racket and a signed Joseph Parker boxing gloves.
